Placements24 is seeking an Automotive Systems Integration Engineer in East London to ensure seamless integration of powertrain, chassis, electrical, and software systems for optimal vehicle performance. You will troubleshoot complex subsystem interactions, validate overall system behavior, and contribute to reliable, high-performing vehicles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in automotive systems engineering with a focus on integration.
• Strong understanding of automotive architectures (powertrain, chassis, electrical, software).
• Familiarity with CAN, LIN, Ethernet and diagnostic tools.
• Experience with system modeling and simulation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute system integration activities for new vehicle platforms and feature developments.
• Identify and resolve conflicts between subsystems (engine control, ABS, infotainment).
• Develop and implement system-level test plans and validation procedures (simulation and on-vehicle).
• Analyze system performance data, diagnose integration issues, collaborate with subsystem engineers for solutions.
• Ensure compliance with system requirements, safety standards, and regulatory mandates.
• Document integration processes, test results, and system configurations meticulously.
