Job summary

Fouche & Co Recruitment is seeking a Stock Controller for a Durban-based motor dealership. You will manage and control new and used vehicle stock from receipt to delivery, ensuring accurate records in the dealership system and CRM.

You will conduct regular stock counts, process registrations and documentation, and collaborate with sales, workshop and admin to track vehicle movement. A valid SA driver’s license and Matric are required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Stock Controller role within the motor industry is essential.
• Experience with dealership management systems (Automate, Kerridge, Evolve or similar) advantageous.
• SA driver's license required.
• Matric essential; further qualification in logistics, finance, or administration advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage and control new and used vehicle stock from receipt to delivery.
• Maintain accurate stock records in the dealership system and CRM.
• Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile with records.
• Process vehicle registrations, licensing, and documentation on time.
• Collaborate with sales, workshop and admin to track vehicle movement.
• Investigate stock discrepancies and resolve them quickly.
• Prepare stock reports for management.
