Placements24 is seeking an Automotive Quality Control Inspector for our Randburg client, a major automotive manufacturer. You will perform visual and mechanical inspections of finished vehicles and components, record findings, and coordinate with production teams to drive corrective actions.

The role requires a sharp eye for detail, understanding of ISO 9001/IATF 16949, and ability to read drawings and specs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Quality Control Inspector in automotive manufacturing.
• Ability to read/interpret technical drawings and specs.
• Familiar with ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and mechanical inspections of finished vehicles and components.
• Use measurement tools to verify specifications.
• Identify, document, and report non-conformities and defects.
• Ensure QC activities follow company standards and procedures.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and QA teams to resolve issues.
• Contribute to root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate records of inspection results and QC data.
• Monitor production processes for ongoing quality adherence.
• Conduct audits of work areas to ensure protocol compliance.
