Job summary

Placements24 is sourcing an Automotive Quality Control Inspector for a respected automotive component manufacturer in Klerksdorp, North West. This role focuses on ensuring parts meet stringent quality standards before delivery to clients.

The successful candidate will perform thorough inspections, document findings, and support corrective actions with cross-functional teams to maintain high-quality output. A sharp eye for detail is essential.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma; technical qualification is advantageous.
• Minimum 2 years in quality control inspection, preferably automotive/manufacturing.
• Proficient with precision measuring tools and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and specs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of incoming materials, in-process components and finished parts.
• Use calipers, micrometers and gauges to verify dimensions against specs.
• Identify, document and report non-conforming products or issues.
• Follow established QC procedures and standards meticulously.
• Collaborate with production and engineering to address QC concerns and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and data.
• Participate in internal audits and quality improvement initiatives.
• Adhere to safety regulations and company policies.
