On Consulting (Pty) Ltd in South Africa seeks a quality controller for a Dubai-based workshop. You will own final inspections, road tests, and safety verifications to ensure all work meets manufacturer specs and internal standards before handover.

We value keen attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to log inspection reports in our DMS or repair-tracking software. A valid Code B driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years in an automotive workshop environment.
• Strong understanding of automotive mechanical, electrical and electronic systems.
• Valid, clean Driver’s License (Code B/Manual) for road tests.
• Zero-tolerance for shortcuts or safety risks.
• Ability to log inspection reports in DMS or repair tracking software.

Responsibilities

• Final Inspections: conduct visual and mechanical checks on all completed jobs.
• Road Testing: ensure drivability and safety after service.
• Diagnostic & Safety Verification: confirm codes cleared and safety components work.
• Feedback & Collaboration: communicate defects to technicians and manager.
• Comeback Tracking: analyze patterns to identify training gaps.
• Housekeeping & Compliance: ensure clean vehicles and proper documentation.
