Job summary

MPRTC Recruitment is seeking a seasoned automotive parts manager for a franchised dealership in Stellenbosch, Western Cape. The role focuses on leading a parts department and team, controlling stock, and driving budgets and gross profit.

The ideal candidate brings strong Excel skills and a history with DMS platforms (CDK/Autoline/Kerridge), plus a valid driver’s licence and preference for premium brands.

Qualifications

• Matric / Grade 12 is required.
• Minimum 5 years’ automotive parts experience at a franchised dealership.
• At least 3 years’ experience managing a parts department and team.
• Proven experience in stock control, stocktakes, ageing and obsolete stock management.
• Experience managing departmental budgets, sales targets and gross profit.
• Working knowledge of dealer management systems such as CDK, Autoline or Kerridge.
• Strong MS Excel skills.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Experience with premium automotive brands advantageous.
