Job summary

The successful candidate will join SydSen Recruit in Gauteng to manage dealership stock control and inventory accuracy. Your focus will be on maintaining records, reconciling physical stock with the system, and controlling stock movements with precision.

Ideal applicants have Grade 12, a qualification in Inventory Management and strong numerical/Excel skills, with prior stock control experience in automotive settings. Availability for alternate Saturdays and public holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Grade 12/Matric is essential.
• Certificate or diploma in Inventory Management or related field advantageous.
• Experience in stock control or inventory management.
• Experience in an automotive dealership advantageous.
• Strong numerical ability and attention to detail.
• Computer literacy, particularly Excel.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory and stock records.
• Conduct regular stock takes and reconcile stock against system records.
• Monitor and record incoming and outgoing stock.
• Identify, investigate and report stock discrepancies.
• Ensure all stock movements are accurately captured and accounted for.
• Maintain an organised and efficient stock control system.
• Assist with month-end stock takes and reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with dealership stock control procedures.
