Job summary

Motus corporation is seeking a stock controller in Cape Town to ensure accurate vehicle stock operations. The role focuses on stock control support, damage checks, VIN verification, and meticulous record-keeping to support timely transactions.

Applicants should have Matric and 3+ years in stock control within automotive retail, with Autoline/Drive system experience preferred and advanced Excel skills to manage inventories efficiently.

Qualifications

• Matric qualification.
• 3+ years' experience as a stock controller in the automotive retail industry.
• Autoline/ Drive system experience preferable.

Responsibilities

• Check all vehicles for damages / scratches / dents.
• Ensure VIN numbers match the delivery note.
• Ensure spare keys, spare tyre, lighters and tools are in the vehicle.
• Record all damages and missing items on the delivery note.
• Lock all keys in a key safe.
• Split spare keys on receipt of vehicle.
• Perform proper reconciliation.
