Placements24 is seeking an Automotive Electrician in Nelspruit to diagnose and repair electrical systems across a range of vehicles. You will troubleshoot faults, install components, and ensure high-quality workmanship in a busy workshop.

The role requires strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and diagnostic tools, with a focus on safety and precise repairs. A relevant trade certification is highly desirable and you will work in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Automotive Electrician or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and components.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and electrical testing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair a wide range of automotive electrical issues, including starting, charging, lighting, and accessory systems.
• Install and service automotive electrical components such as alarms, audio systems, and GPS trackers.
• Perform wiring repairs and modifications, ensuring all work is safe, reliable, and compliant with industry standards.
• Utilize diagnostic equipment, multimeters, and oscilloscopes to identify and resolve electrical faults.
• Advise customers on necessary electrical repairs and maintenance.
• Maintain accurate records of all work performed and parts used.
