Ideal candidates hold a Mechanical Engineering degree with 4+ years in automotive design, and are proficient in SolidWorks/CATIA and ANSYS/Abaqus, with strong materials and manufacturing process knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years of mechanical design experience, preferably automotive.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD and FEA tools (SolidWorks/CATIA/ANSYS/Abaqus).
• Strong understanding of materials science, manufacturing processes, and tolerances.
• Experience with automotive component testing and validation.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components for automotive applications using CAD software.
• Perform stress, thermal, and vibration analyses using FEA tools.
• Create detailed manufacturing drawings, specifications, and BOMs.
• Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturing engineers for manufacturability.
• Plan and execute component testing and validation programs.
• Troubleshoot design issues during development and production phases.
• Contribute to design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Stay updated on automotive technology and mechanical design standards.
