Job summary

iqbusiness in Cape Town is seeking a QA Specialist for a 12-month contract. This hybrid role (3 days on-site, 2 days WFH) focuses on web and mobile testing, building robust test plans, and automating where possible to raise product quality.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
4+ years of testing websites/web apps and mobile apps.
Experience in regression and load/stress testing.
Playwright automation experience.

Responsibilities

Develop and Implement Web and Mobile-App Test Plans with scope, approach, resources, and schedule.
Design, write, and execute test cases to verify software behavior.
Identify, document, and reproduce bugs with steps.
Create automated tests where possible to speed up processes.
Perform regression testing after fixes or new features.
Collaborate with development to understand features and testing needs.
Document testing processes, results and discrepancies for future use.
Test performance under heavy loads and assess scalability.
Conduct usability and accessibility testing to ensure user-friendliness.
