Job summary

Job Purpose:

Research,analyses and evaluates requirements for Control & Instrumentation systems.Designs, develops, tests, Commissions and maintains Control & Instrumentationsystems and reviews the work done in cases where the activities are outsourced.

Qualifications:

• Matric (Grade 12)
• National Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Electronics or Instrumentation)

Experience:

• 1 Year (Advantage)

Knowledge:

• ExtensiveKnowledge of PLC Programming skills, SCADA & HMI design, configuration, andimplementation.
• Extensiveknowledge of Control and Instrumentation Design.
• Extensiveknowledge of Commissioning of Control and Instrumentation Systems
• Extensiveknowledge of popular PLC, SCADA, HMI and electrical products (Schneider, AllenBradley, Siemens, ABB, Adroit, Aveva.)
• Extensiveknowledge of Industrial Networking design and configuration (Ethernet, MODBUS,Fibre optic, Profibus, Devicenet, etc.)
