Job summary

Spane4all seeks a Control & Instrumentation professional to design, develop, test, commission and maintain C&I systems and review outsourced work.

The role requires strong PLC programming, SCADA & HMI design skills, and knowledge of popular C&I products. Expert understanding of industrial networking (Ethernet, MODBUS, Profibus, Devicenet) is essential, along with AutoCAD Electrical proficiency. Matric and a National Diploma in Electrical Engineering are required.

Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12) is required.
• National Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Electronics or Instrumentation) is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide extensive knowledge of PLC programming, SCADA & HMI design, configuration and implementation.
• Demonstrate extensive knowledge of control and instrumentation design and commissioning.
• Capable of commissioning control and instrumentation systems and reviewing outsourced work.
• Familiar with popular PLC, SCADA, HMI and electrical products (Schneider, Allen Bradley, Siemens, ABB, Adroit, Aveva).
• Design and configure industrial networking (Ethernet, MODBUS, Fibre optic, Profibus, Devicenet).
• Knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical; basic knowledge of electrical systems design (MCC).
