Job summary

The ideal candidate holds a Mechatronics/Electrical/Mechanical engineering degree or is a final-year student, with knowledge of PLCs, Modbus, networking, and programming in Java/Python/C#/C++.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechatronics, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Final-year graduates will also be considered.
• Interest in PLC programming and understanding of Modbus RTU / TCP/IP.
• Interest in variable speed drives, solar PV and grid-powered systems.
• Understanding of Wi-Fi, Ethernet and system networking.
• Strong administration and technical documentation skills.
• Java, Python, C#, C++, SQL or other programming knowledge advantageous.
• Logical, self-driven and solutions-focused approach.
• Strong teamwork and ability to meet project deadlines.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel locally and internationally.
• Bilingual in Afrikaans and English with strong communication skills.
