Qualifications

• Strong technical aptitude and interest in software development, automation and AI.
• Programming experience in Python, Java, JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Understanding of software development principles and reusable code.
• Ability to learn unfamiliar technologies quickly and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, implement and maintain automation and software solutions that support Retail Operations.
• Develop solutions using Tungsten Automation (Kofax) RPA, SQL, Python, APIs, scripting languages and web technologies.
• Contribute to AI solutions, including AI agents and generative AI-enabled workflows.
• Collaborate with teams across Retail Operations to understand challenges and opportunities for improvement.
• Contribute across the full solution lifecycle from concept to production support and continuous improvement.
• Develop understanding of Retail Operations products, processes, systems and data.
• Build reliable, maintainable and secure solutions meeting development standards.
• Troubleshoot issues across applications, databases, integrations and production environments.
• Develop and optimise SQL queries and data-processing logic.
• Document designs, support guides and technical documentation.
