Placements24 seeks a Sports Facility Operations Manager to oversee Mahikeng’s sports venues, ensuring safe, efficient operations across fields, courts, and amenities. Lead maintenance, scheduling, and staff supervision to support community sports and recreation.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Facility Management, Sports Management, or a related field.
• Experience in sports facility management or operations is preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills required.
• Ability to develop and manage budgets and supervise staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of all sports facilities.
• Develop and implement operational plans, maintenance schedules, and safety protocols.
• Supervise and schedule facility attendants, groundskeepers, and maintenance staff.
• Manage budgets for facility operations, including staffing, maintenance, and supplies.
• Ensure facilities are ready for events and public use.
• Liaise with leagues, event organizers, and community groups to coordinate usage.
