Qualifications

• Grade 12 qualification.
• 3 years' experience in retail.
• Budgeting understanding.

Responsibilities

• Motivate and lead a team of store associates, setting clear expectations and fostering a positive work environment.
• Ensure outstanding customer service by training and coaching staff.
• Collaborate with the Store Manager to meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs.
• Assist in managing inventory levels, including stock replenishment and counts.
• Maintain an appealing store layout and product displays.
• Oversee daily store operations, opening/closing, cash handling and safety.
• Support training and development to boost product knowledge and sales skills.
• Address and resolve customer complaints or issues efficiently.
• Ensure policy compliance and promote a culture of safety.
• Assist in generating and analyzing sales and inventory reports.
• Contribute to merchandising planning, promotions and campaigns.
• Help with scheduling, payroll and accurate record-keeping.
• Oversee store cleanliness and organization.
• Collaborate with Store Manager to execute store vision.
