Job summary

iKhokha is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Gugulethu to lead store operations, drive sales, and energise the team. You will support sales agents, manage stock, and ensure excellent merchant experiences in a fast-paced retail environment.

Ideal candidates have 1 year of field or retail experience, strong MS Office and CRM skills (HubSpot), and excellent communication and people management abilities in English and local vernacular.

Qualifications

• Matric certificate required.
• Minimum 1 year field or retail experience.
• Experience with cold calling and converting leads.
• Proficiency in MS Office and HubSpot CRM.
• Understanding of retail store operations and stock management.
• Strong communication and people management skills.
• Ability to communicate in English and local vernacular.

Responsibilities

• Assist with managing an iStore with full ownership when the Store Manager is away.
• Drive monthly sales and activation ratios; plan staff routes for outbound activities.
• Open and close the store according to operating hours and enhance in-store experiences.
• Provide immediate support to sales agents within the iStore network.
• Oversee stock management processes, weekly stock takes and cycle counting.
