Farm Manager SA seeks a hands-on Farm Manager for a compact, intensive horticultural operation in the George area. You will lead staff, coordinate land preparation, sowing, fertilization, irrigation management and weed control.

You will maintain production records, manage irrigation infrastructure, and arrange maintenance for vehicles and farm equipment, ensuring smooth daily activity on the farm.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree/diploma in agriculture with horticulture or agronomy major.
• At least 2 years practical farm experience in horticultural or agronomic production with staff supervision.
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans; proficient with Excel; hands-on on a compact farm.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelors degree or diploma in agriculture with major in Horticulture or Agronomy
• At least 2 years practical farm experience in horticultural or agronomic production and staff supervision

• Be hands-on and participate in all farm activities as is necessary on a compact, intense farm
