Job summary

Bright Placements (PTY) Ltd is seeking an experienced hospitality professional for a senior lodge management role. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, confident, and capable of taking ownership of lodge operations while leading a team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

They should have a track record in luxury or 5-star settings, strong F&B and operations experience, and keen administration and planning skills to drive seamless daily activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements: Experience in an Assistant Lodge Manager, Assistant General Manager, Lodge Management, F&B Management or similar senior hospitality position.
• Strong experience within a luxury or 5-star hospitality environment.
• Proven experience managing and supervising hospitality personnel.
• Strong Food & Beverage operational experience.
• Experience in administration, planning, organising and stock control.
• Excellent guest interaction and customer service skills.
• Proven ability to lead a team from the front and work hands-on within lodge operations.
• Strong organisational and administrative abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and make sound operational decisions.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidates will be hands-on, confident and experienced hospitality professionals who are comfortable taking ownership of lodge operations and leading a team.

For a couple, both candidates do not necessarily need to have identical experience. Ideally, both candidates should have some overlap in Food & Beverage and lodge operations, while one candidate may be stronger in administration, planning, organising and stock control, and the other stronger in Food & Beverage and guest-facing operations.
