Job summary

Fidelity Services Group (CSA Head Office, Helderkruin) seeks a Fixed Assets Administrator to maintain the asset register in SAP and ensure IFRS-compliant, timely updates of fixed assets and financed leases. Reporting to the Group Fixed Assets Accountant, the role requires strong Excel, SAP experience, and IFRS knowledge.

Responsibilities include asset creation, CAPEX reporting, GL reconciliations, asset disposals/transfers, stock verification, lease register maintenance, and aiding auditors.

Qualifications

• Matric Certificate and studying an Accounting related qualification (added advantage).
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with SAP.
• IFRS knowledge.
• Must be able to travel and work overtime when required.
• Excellent admin and interpersonal skills.
• Clear Criminal Record.
• Should reside in the West Rand or surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly CAPEX expenditure report (EXCO report).
• Create assets numbers.
• Process all assets acquisition.
• Disposing and transferring assets.
• Preparation of General Ledger recons on the Green line system.
• Reconciliation of the Assets clearing accounts.
• Perform physical verification of assets and assets tagging.
• Take stock of the occurrences at the auction.
• Maintain the Property rental / Lease register.
• Assisting auditors with year- end and interim audit.
• Ad hoc accounting / admin related tasks as and when required.
