Job summary

Placements24 is recruiting an Arts Administrator for our client in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal. The role focuses on providing comprehensive administrative and logistical support across artistic programs and projects.

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, enjoy working in a creative environment and be able to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a supportive team setting.

Qualifications

• Previous administrative or operational experience, preferably in Arts & Entertainment.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive administrative support to directors, program managers and staff.
• Manage calendars, meetings and travel arrangements for staff and artists.
• Assist with budgets, invoices and financial reports preparation.
• Coordinate logistics for events, exhibitions and performances including venue bookings and materials.
• Maintain databases and filing systems with up-to-date records.
• Serve as a point of contact for artists, vendors and the public.
