Placements24 is seeking an Artisan Wedding & Function Caterer for weddings and exclusive events in George, Western Cape. The role focuses on crafting unique menus, delivering exceptional dining experiences, and maintaining flawless on-site execution with a team of staff.

You will collaborate with clients and planners to realise visions, manage inventory and costs, and uphold the highest standards of food safety and presentation in a dynamic event setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in a catering role with weddings/high-end functions.
• Portfolio of high-end event catering work is advantageous.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop customized wedding and function menus using artisan techniques.
• Coordinate on-site catering execution with clients, planners and venues.
• Oversee food sourcing, inventory, and cost control measures.
• Ensure hygiene, safety and sanitation best practices at all times.
• Lead catering staff during events to ensure professional service.
