Job summary

Red Ember Recruitment is seeking an Area Coach for a client based in Plattekloof to lead multiple restaurants through coaching and development of Restaurant General Managers, while driving operational excellence, customer satisfaction, sales growth and profitability.

This role requires extensive travel between sites, strong leadership, budgeting and KPI management, and a proven track record in multi-site QSR operations.

Qualifications

• BCom, Business Management qualification or related tertiary qualification.
• Minimum 4 years' experience within the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) industry.
• Proven multi-site operational leadership experience.
• Valid driver's licence and ability to travel extensively between restaurants.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen.
• Exceptional leadership and coaching ability.
• Customer-focused mindset.
• Excellent planning and organisational skills.
• Strong analytical ability.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to influence and motivate teams.
• Strong problem-solving capability.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Restaurant General Managers and management teams, building IDPs and performance reviews.
• Conduct area customer visits and operational reviews to ensure service standards and customer satisfaction.
• Drive area sales performance by setting targets and supporting local marketing campaigns.
• Maximise profitability through labour and food cost control and regular financial reviews.
• Prepare Area Operating Plans and present quarterly business reviews with KPIs.
