Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an Architectural Technologist in Midrand, Gauteng to translate architectural concepts into detailed drawings and specifications. You will work closely with architects, engineers, and construction teams to ensure compliance with SA building regulations and project standards.

You will develop construction documents in AutoCAD and Revit, oversee technical drawings, and participate in planning and permit processes.

Qualifications

• National Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Technology or related field.
• Proven experience as an Architectural Technologist or similar role.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as Revit and AutoCAD is essential.
• Strong understanding of building materials, construction methods, and SA building regulations.
• Excellent technical drawing and detailing skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed architectural drawings and construction documentation using CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit).
