Placements24, on behalf of a well-established architectural practice in Upington, Northern Cape, is seeking an Architectural Technician to support design and project delivery teams. You will produce accurate technical drawings and documentation for construction, working closely with architects and project managers to implement designs and meet regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Architectural Technology or Draughting.
• Proven experience as an Architectural Technician or Drafter in a professional office.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and working knowledge of other architectural software.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage tasks in Upington.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed architectural drawings, plans, sections, and elevations using CAD software.
• Assist in the development of construction documentation, specifications, and schedules.
• Ensure drawings and documentation are accurate, complete, and compliant with relevant building codes and standards.
• Coordinate technical details with engineers and other consultants as required for projects.
