Placements24 is seeking an Architectural Designer for a dynamic studio in Centurion, Gauteng. You will lead conceptual design for commercial and retail projects, develop detailed drawings, and collaborate with clients and consultants to deliver design intent from concept to construction documentation.

The role requires 5+ years of experience, proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and 3D rendering tools, and a solid understanding of SA building regulations.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
• 5+ years of experience as an Architectural Designer, focusing on commercial & retail projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience with 3D modeling and rendering software (V-Ray, Lumion).
• Strong conceptual design skills with a portfolio showing creative and technical execution.
• Good understanding of spatial planning, materials, and construction methods.
• Knowledge of South African building regulations and planning approval processes.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team; detail-oriented.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure all designs comply with relevant building codes, accessibility standards, and municipal regulations in Centurion, Gauteng.

Requirements
