Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in architectural design for commercial projects.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong conceptual design skills and knowledge of SA building codes.
• Portfolio of commercial design projects required.

Responsibilities

• Develop architectural concepts and design proposals for commercial projects.
• Prepare detailed design drawings, renderings, and presentations for client meetings and approvals.
• Collaborate with senior architects and project teams through design development and construction documentation phases.
• Coordinate with structural and MEP consultants for integrated design solutions.
• Ensure designs comply with building codes, zoning regulations, and accessibility standards in South Africa.
• Assist in preparation of specifications and tender documentation.
• Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and monitor construction progress.
• Research and propose materials and finishes aligned with project goals and budget.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of commercial design trends and best practices.
