About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organized and proactive Aquatic Centre Operations Manager to oversee all aspects of their state-of-the-art aquatic facility in Richards Bay . This role is critical for ensuring the safe, efficient, and high-quality operation of the centre, including swimming pools, related facilities, and programs. You will manage staff, budgets, maintenance schedules, and customer experience, fostering a safe and enjoyable environment for patrons and participants in various aquatic activities within the Leisure & Sports domain.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the aquatic centre, including pool maintenance, water quality testing, and safety procedures.
• Supervise, schedule, and train aquatic staff, including lifeguards, swim instructors, and customer service representatives.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Manage the operational budget, controlling costs related to staffing, maintenance, and supplies.
• Oversee the scheduling and delivery of swimming programs, lessons, and facility rentals.
• Ensure a high level of customer service and respond promptly to patron inquiries and concerns.

Requirements

• Previous management experience in aquatics, leisure centres, or sports facilities.
