Placements24 presents an Apprentice Chef (Commis Chef) opportunity with a prestigious hospitality group in Sandton, Gauteng. This apprenticeship provides formal culinary training, hands-on kitchen experience, and exposure to high-volume, quality-focused operations under Head Chefs and Sous Chefs.

Candidates will learn cooking fundamentals, food safety, mise en place, and plating while developing a professional palate.

• Must have completed matriculation or an equivalent qualification.
• Willingness to learn under senior kitchen staff.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Must reside in or be able to commute to Sandton, Gauteng, and be legally eligible to work in South Africa.

• Assist in the cooking and plating of various menu items under supervision.
• Learn and practice proper food handling, storage, and sanitation techniques.
