Qualifications

• Completed Grade 12 or equivalent with strong Mathematics and Accounting.
• Interest in pursuing accounting or finance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work independently (remotely) and in-office.
• Willingness to pursue SAIPA/SAICA qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bookkeeping and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Help with bank reconciliations and accounts payable/receivable processing.
• Assist in the preparation of tax returns and related filings.
• Participate in financial audits and data gathering.
• Learn and utilize accounting software and ERP systems.
• Conduct basic financial analysis and report on variances.
• Collaborate with team members on various accounting projects.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
