Job summary

Vodafone is seeking an Applications Support Manager to own the operations-systems cluster including SAMS, RMS, NOC ticketing, Workforce Management and Physical Access. You will drive the roadmap, ensure stability and data quality, and partner with O&M, Power and Data & AI to improve service delivery and analytics.

Lead change, release and configuration management while governing outsourced first-line support and vendors. Strong ITIL grounding and cloud-app exposure are advantageous.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years in application support, business systems, or IT operations.
• Experience with enterprise applications, data flows and integrations.
• Knowledge of ITIL principles and change management.
• Exposure to cloud-hosted applications and monitoring tools advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Own vision, backlog and roadmap for operations-systems cluster (SAMS, RMS, NOC ticketing, Workforce Management, Physical Access).
• Ensure availability, performance and data integrity across the cluster; govern monitoring and telemetry feeds.
• Coordinate changes, enhancements, configuration updates and releases with governance and minimal disruption.
• Manage outsourced first-line support and vendors, ensuring timely fixes and stakeholder communication.
• Drive optimisation, automation and training to improve operational outcomes.
