Job summary

Pump and abrasion Technologies in Cape Town seeks an Apparel Inventory Planner to optimize stock across stores, online channels, and warehouses. The role requires strong planning fundamentals, data interpretation, and hands-on execution to balance stock availability with efficiency.

You will manage replenishment, allocations, and reporting, ensuring ERP data supports accurate decisions and seamless stock movement. Experience in apparel/footwear retail is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in apparel or footwear retail planning or inventory planning.
• Strong understanding of retail stock flow, replenishment, size curves, allocations, and seasonal planning.
• Understand planning principles from the ground up through execution.
• Deep understanding of the working mechanics of inventory planning and store performance.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage stock levels across stores, online channels, and warehouse locations.
• Monitor weekly sales, stock-on-hand, sell-through, weeks-of-cover, and stock availability.
• Identify fast-moving, slow-moving, and out-of-stock products; recommend replenishment actions.
• Allocate new stock to stores based on sales history, store grading, and demand.
• Review stock distribution and suggest store-to-store transfers when needed.
• Prepare weekly and monthly inventory reports and translate data into actionable steps.
• Maintain ERP and stock data accuracy; monitor transfers and stock movements.
