Job summary

Pump and Abrasion Technologies in Limpopo seeks an experienced Stores Manager to take full responsibility for Steelpoort and consignment warehouses. You will manage stock levels, accuracy, discipline on stock removal, and overall upkeep of stock and capital equipment.

You will plan for production, supervise stores, and ensure MRP planning is actioned with up-to-date PODs. You will lead staff, implement policies, oversee security, and optimize warehouse operations from receiving to invoicing

Qualifications

Years experience: minimum 3 years.
Diploma or degree in logistics or related field.
Must be able to speak and understand Afrikaans.
Proven track record of stock accuracy and warehouse management.
Ability to implement and improve warehousing processes and procedures.
Knowledge of warehousing principles and best practices.

Responsibilities

Oversee stores/warehouses and ensure MRP planning for sub-jobs is actioned.
Manage staff and warehouse activities, enforce policies and train employees.
Maintain stock accuracy, security, safety and housekeeping.
Plan work rotas, assign tasks, and appraise results.
Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution, picking, packing, invoicing, PODs and maintenance.
Create/update warehouse labels, bins, QR codes, and update ERP and floor plan.
Produce regular reports (IN/OUT, dead stock, etc.).
Ensure compliance with warehousing, handling and shipping regulations.
