Job summary

TechMarkit in Sandton, Gauteng, is seeking a highly organized Junior Planner to support inventory management, replenishment planning, reporting, and merchandise administration across online and retail channels.

You will coordinate between Head Office and Warehouse, manage replenishment for online and stores, and produce daily to monthly sales, stock and forecast reports using Excel, Shopify, Syspro, and ERP data.

Qualifications

• Matric (Essential)
• Diploma or Degree in Planning, Forecasting, Business, Supply Chain, Commerce, or a related field (Advantageous)
• Minimum 2 years' experience in Planning, Forecasting, Inventory Management, or Merchandise Administration within a retail environment
• Experience working with ERP systems and inventory management platforms
• Exposure to Shopify, Syspro, Magento or similar website systems will be advantageous
• Strong Microsoft Excel and reporting skills

Responsibilities

• Replenishment Planning for online and retail stores
• Generate and maintain replenishment reports and planning files
• Place replenishment orders accurately and within required timelines
• Monitor stock levels and identify potential stock shortages or overstock situations
• Manage open purchase orders and ensure timely follow-up with stakeholders
• Maintain stock balance across key product lines
• Produce and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly sales, margin, stock holding, forecasting, and supplier reports
• Monitor key business metrics and identify trends, risks, and opportunities
• Ensure reporting templates remain accurate, professional, and user-friendly
• Highlight anomalies and performance concerns to relevant stakeholders
