Job summary

Starlite Aviation Group seeks an experienced AOC Accountable Manager to assume executive accountability for operations and performance of its Part 127/135/101 activities from Durban. Lead the AOC organisation, align strategy, and ensure safety and compliance across all operations, including regulatory approvals and fleet planning.

You will drive operational excellence, manage budgets, and maintain strong relationships with SACAA, customers and suppliers, while guiding teams across helicopter,

Qualifications

• Pilot licence CPL required.
• Business management diploma/degree required.
• Safety/Quality Assurance certification preferred.
• Approximately eight years in a senior management role with budgets.
• Extensive civil aviation senior management experience in flight ops, maintenance or safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership to the AOC organisation and build the required structure, resources, systems and controls.
• Define strategy, objectives and goals; monitor industry trends and adapt accordingly.
• Embed Quality, Safety, Health and Environmental considerations in decisions.
