Placements24 is seeking an Airline Operations Specialist to support flight operations management at the Soweto hub. You will coordinate flight schedules, ground handling liaison, and passenger service support to keep day-to-day operations smooth.

The role requires strong problem-solving, excellent communication, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced aviation environment. You will collaborate with dispatch, scheduling, and ground teams to resolve disruptions and maintain service

Qualifications

• Experience in airline operations or flight coordination.
• Good understanding of airline operational procedures and principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing flight schedules, including coordinating delays, cancellations, and diversions.
• Liaise with ground handling, maintenance, and crew scheduling to ensure seamless operations.
• Monitor flight status and provide real-time updates to stakeholders.
• Support resolution of operational disruptions and passenger service issues.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and aviation regulations.
• Assist in preparing operational reports and performance analysis.
