The role requires a solid background in aerospace structures, experience with FEA (ANSYS/NASTRAN), and strong technical writing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering with a specialization in structures.
• Demonstrated experience in aircraft structural analysis and design.
• Proficiency with FEA software such as ANSYS, NASTRAN, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of material science, fatigue, fracture mechanics, and composite structures.
• Knowledge of relevant aerospace standards and certification processes.
• Excellent technical writing and communication skills, suitable for a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software to assess stress, strain, and deformation under various load conditions.
• Validate structural designs against regulatory requirements (e.g., SACAA , EASA, FAA) and internal standards.
• Develop and execute test plans for structural components and assemblies.
• Analyze test data and simulation results to identify potential structural weaknesses or areas for improvement.
• Investigate structural failures or anomalies, determine root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with design engineers to optimize structures for weight reduction while maintaining safety margins.
