Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Stress Analysis Engineer to join the Centurion team for an on-site role focused on ensuring structural integrity through advanced FEA simulations. You will predict failures, validate models, and collaborate with design teams to optimize components for performance and safety.

The ideal candidate has a strong mechanics background, 5+ years in FEA/structural analysis, and proficiency with ANSYS or Abaqus.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Mechanical/Civil engineering with a focus on solid mechanics.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in FEA and structural analysis.
• Proficiency with FEA software such as ANSYS, Abaqus, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed stress, strain, and fatigue analysis on mechanical components and assemblies using FEA software.
• Interpret simulation results and provide actionable recommendations to design and development teams.
• Develop and validate simulation models to accurately represent real-world operating environments.
• Collaborate with designers to optimize component geometry for improved structural performance and reduced material usage.
• Stay current with advancements in computational mechanics and simulation techniques.
• Document analysis procedures, results, and conclusions thoroughly.
