Placements24 in Paarl is seeking an Aircraft Sheet Metal Worker to join our maintenance facility. You will fabricate, fit, and repair sheet metal components for various aircraft, reading technical drawings to ensure exact dimensions and tolerances.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Aircraft Sheet Metal Worker or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Skilled in using sheet metal fabrication tools, including shears, brakes, punches, and drills.
• Knowledge of different aircraft metals (e.g., aluminum alloys) and their properties.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a workshop setting.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, shape, and join sheet metal components for aircraft structures using various tools and techniques.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and work orders to determine dimensions and specifications.
