Responsibilities include interpreting drawings, performing repairs on skins and bulkheads, and operating sheet metal equipment while adhering to aviation safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Aircraft Sheet Metal Worker or related structural repair role.
• Proficiency interpreting blueprints and drawings for aircraft structures.
• Skilled with hand and power tools used in sheet metal fabrication and repair.
• Experience with aluminum alloys and composites used in aircraft.
• Strong detail orientation and high-quality workmanship.
• Knowledge of aviation safety standards and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, form, and install sheet metal parts per blueprints and specifications.
• Repair damaged skins, bulkheads, and structural components using riveting, patching, and bonding.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, repair manuals, and technical data.
• Measure, cut, drill, and shape metal stock accurately.
• Operate sheet metal shop equipment (brakes, shears, punches).
• Ensure all work meets quality standards and regulatory requirements.

About the Role
