Placements24 is seeking a diligent Aircraft Mechanic to join the Line Maintenance team in Queenstown. You will perform routine checks, minor repairs, and preventative maintenance to ensure airworthiness and timely turnaround between flights.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

This is a critical position supporting the day-to-day flight operations of the airline.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-flight, transit, and post-flight aircraft inspections as per regulatory and company requirements.
• Perform minor repairs and component replacements on various aircraft systems, including engines, hydraulics, and landing gear.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot common technical issues that arise during line operations.
• Service aircraft with necessary fluids, lubricants, and gases.
• Document all maintenance actions accurately and promptly in the aircraft logbook and maintenance system.
• Ensure all tools, equipment, and the ramp area are maintained in a clean and safe condition.
