About the Role

Our client seeks a meticulous and physically capable Aircraft Loadmaster to manage cargo loading and unloading operations at the Rustenburg airfield. You will ensure that all cargo is loaded safely, securely, and according to weight and balance regulations, maximizing aircraft efficiency and stability. This role demands a strong understanding of cargo handling procedures, weight distribution principles, and safety protocols. You will be an integral part of the ground operations team, contributing to the seamless flow of goods and personnel within the aviation logistics chain.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct the loading and unloading of cargo and baggage onto aircraft.
• Calculate and verify aircraft weight and balance to ensure safe and efficient flight operations.
• Ensure all cargo is properly secured and restrained to prevent movement during flight.
• Coordinate with flight crew regarding cargo manifests, weight distribution, and special handling requirements.
• Operate specialized loading equipment safely and efficiently.

Requirements

• Previous experience in cargo handling, logistics, or a related field within aviation.
• Knowledge of aircraft loading procedures, weight and balance calculations, and aviation safety standards.

• Physical fitness and the capacity to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
