You will diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues, perform preventive maintenance, keep accurate records, and ensure safety compliance while supporting airport ground handling.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a technician with heavy machinery, preferably GSE.
• Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical diagnostic and repair skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and maintenance instructions.
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to ground operations and equipment handling.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on GSE such as tugs, belt loaders, and service vehicles.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues affecting GSE performance.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts used, and equipment status.
• Ensure all GSE is operated safely and compliant with aviation safety regulations and company policies.
• Manage inventory of spare parts and consumables for GSE maintenance.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and ensure rapid repair to minimize operational delays.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Proven experience as a technician working with heavy machinery, preferably Ground Support Equipment (GSE).

• Knowledge of safety procedures related to ground operations and equipment handling.
• Valid driver's license and the ability to obtain airport security clearance.
• A strong work ethic and the ability to work effectively in a team in Mahikeng.
