Placements24 is seeking energetic and responsible Aircraft Ground Handlers to support flight operations in Upington. You will help move aircraft on the ramp and coordinate with pilots to ensure safe parking and timely service.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Marshal aircraft to and from parking stands using standardized signals.
• Operate ground support equipment such as chocks, cones and safety barriers.
• Connect/disconnect aircraft from GPU and PCA units.
• Visually inspect aircraft exterior before and after operations.
• Communicate with pilots and ATC about movements and ground operations.
• Adhere to safety regulations while working on the ramp.

About the Role

Our client is looking for energetic and responsible Aircraft Ground Handlers to support flight operations in Upington . This role is essential for the smooth and safe movement of aircraft on the ground, including marshalling, guiding aircraft into parking stands, and connecting ground services. You will work closely with pilots and other ground personnel to ensure efficient and safe aircraft operations. Key Responsibilities

• Marshal aircraft to and from parking stands using standardized visual signals.
• Operate ground support equipment such as chocks, cones, and safety barriers.
• Connect and disconnect aircraft from ground power units (GPU) and pre-conditioned air (PCA) units.
• Perform visual inspections of aircraft exterior for any visible damage or discrepancies before and after ground operations.
• Communicate effectively with pilots and air traffic control regarding aircraft movements and ground operations.
• Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and procedures while working on the ramp in Upington .

Requirements

• Proven ability to follow precise instructions and visual signals accurately.
