Job summary

Embelo is seeking a technically savvy Project Manager to lead agile delivery across UK-based client projects from our Cape Town office. You’ll coordinate AI and software transformation work with engineers, product and leadership, ensuring scope, quality and timelines are met while maintaining strong stakeholder alignment.

You will drive sprint planning, manage risks, and foster collaboration across distributed teams, strengthening our SA presence and supporting client success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience managing complex software, data, AI or technology projects.
• Strong hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum and sprint management.
• Experience working with UK or international clients and coordinating distributed teams.
• Solid technical understanding of software development, APIs, integrations, cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own Agile delivery: plan sprints, stand-ups, reviews and retrospectives across UK projects.
• Manage technical execution with engineers and technical leads.
• Ensure scope, acceptance criteria and deliverables align with SOW and standards.
• Track milestones, capacity, progress and quality, manage risks and scope creep.
• Communicate progress, risks and decisions clearly to clients, leadership and teams.
• Coordinate resource planning and team coverage.
• Foster collaboration and build a connected South African team.
