Placements24 in Randburg is seeking a Software Development Project Manager to lead end-to-end software initiatives in a hybrid work environment. You will drive Agile delivery, mentor teams, and partner with product owners to ensure timely, high-quality releases.

You will champion SDLC best practices, facilitate ceremonies, and remove blockers while aligning stakeholders and management to strategic goals in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software project management or Agile project management.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and team facilitation skills.
• Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the planning, execution, and delivery of software development projects using Agile methodologies.
• Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Work closely with product owners to define and prioritize the product backlog.
• Identify and remove impediments blocking the progress of the development team.
• Ensure effective communication and collaboration between development teams, stakeholders, and management.
