Job summary

The Global Talent Co. is seeking an early-career Software Engineer to help build the digital infrastructure for grant funding, spanning backend, frontend, and AI pipeline.

You will work closely with the CTO, gaining hands-on production experience, and gradually taking on more independent ownership with a clear path toward a senior engineering role.

Expect mentorship, a strong emphasis on user-first software, and learning through real projects that matter for non-profit funding initiatives.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Solid fundamentals in TypeScript and/or JavaScript.
• Experience across frontend and backend stacks.
• German language skills at B1 level or above (nice to have).
• First experience with AI tools or LLM APIs (nice to have).

Responsibilities

• Product Development & Full-Stack Engineering: Ship features end-to-end across backend and UI, across the stack (React, Node/Express, Postgres, AWS).
• AI Development: Build the platform's AI pipeline from week one, including prompt engineering and evaluations.
• Production & Debugging: Debug in production and work with Sentry, CloudWatch, and Postgres.
• Learning & Engineering Growth: Mentoring from the CTO, code reviews, and increasing ownership over time.
