Placements24 is seeking an Agricultural Technology Sales Specialist focused on Soweto and surrounding communities. You will sell farm management software, precision farming equipment, and smart irrigation systems while building strong relationships with farmers and cooperatives.

The ideal candidate combines agriculture passion with sales acumen and a solid understanding of modern farming technologies, with travel within the territory expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Agricultural Engineering or related field (sales experience may offset).
• Proven track record in sales, preferably in agricultural technology or equipment.
• Strong understanding of modern farming technologies and practices.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell the company's portfolio of agricultural technology products to potential clients.
• Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through lead generation and direct client engagement.
• Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to showcase benefits.
• Understand client needs and advise on suitable technology solutions.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets to grow market share in Gauteng.
