Placements24 seeks a motivated Agricultural Sales Representative to cover Nelspruit and surrounding regions, blending field travel with remote planning and reporting.

You will promote crop protection chemicals, fertilizers, seeds and equipment, building lasting relationships with farmers and co-operatives, and driving sales targets through strategic proposals and demonstrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Business, Marketing, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of sales experience, preferably in agriculture.
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong knowledge of crops and farming practices in the Mpumalanga region.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Agricultural Sales Representative to join their team, covering the Nelspruit and surrounding regions. This hybrid role involves significant field travel to meet with farmers and agricultural businesses, alongside remote work for reporting and planning. You will be responsible for promoting and selling a range of agricultural products, including crop protection chemicals, fertilizers, seeds, and equipment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent sales skills, a strong understanding of agricultural markets , and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients in the Mpumalanga province.
